No Kissing While Bottling

There was some Jack Be Quick pumpkin ale left in the bucket after kegging. I decided to bottle it on the back steps this morning. The big auto-siphon has no bottling wand, the small one no clip. So I had to hold the siphon with one hand, the wand with the other, the bottle on the concrete. My darling wife called out and asked if I wanted water. "No thanks, busy." She came outside and asked if I wanted anything, apparently not noticing my unusual posture. "No thanks, I'm busy" She moved inches away from me, and leaned toward my face. The bottle tipped over, spilling. "Shucks" (or words to that effect). "I didn't do anything, I wanted a kiss" she said. No kissing while bottling. As an added bonus, the bottling tip remained in the bottle.
It was only one bottle, but I didn't even get the kiss!

Wow John, your lack of focus on what's important is truly troubling...

Geez, women and abuse of alcohol already seem to go hand in hand! LOL

My wife has learned to leave me alone on brew/bottling day. I think yours has too.

I dunno, she seems like a keeper to me. Unless of course, she's not a good kisser.

Is this just another example of a problem that can be solved by kegging instead of bottling?

He was kegging......well at least up to the bottling/kissing part.

She's definitely a good kisser, and a keeper. Because I can read her this thread and she laughs.
I really could have solved the problem by standing the bottles in a six pack to fill. But I'm out of practice.

A simple fix, just kiss more!

This is the secret to both my marriage and my brewing/bottling/kegging.

Beerlord, I didn't know you cared.
