I'll be sailing in October...What the heck: Jets over Bengals. There. Now I don't have to pick the Jets again, and I didn't even look at the schedule. Maybe I'll designate a picker (designated picker) when I'm away. If I last past week 1!

Well John, you are sailing and I am scrubbing this old house down with denatured alcohol while our bathrooms get torn up so if it is just the two of us it will be an interesting season.

I'll try to find BB2's original post (where he put the rules out) and .... quote, cut and paste... I can't remember how I did that last time.

And since I can do no harm at the moment I'll take the Texans over the Pats...

Burned Vikings and Chargers

I was good after the Niners beat LA, but didn't make a choice last weekend so I'm out until it starts fresh.

It has been a while since this game got started so I am copying BB2's original post in case any new comers might be interested in joining in.
The game is now re-set so anyone can join in for this weekend, except me, 'cause I picked the Texans for Thursdays game <face palm>.

"OK. BB2 here. Let us begin the NFL season with a simple game for EVERYONE. Anyone can play.

Here are the ONLY rules:

EACH WEEK PICK A WINNER - choose any team playing against any other team.

Post your picks in this thread. IF THAT TEAM WINS YOU PROGRESS.

Next week pick another - but ONLY if you're previous pick was correct. Losers may not post another pick until there is a reset (there are no winners one week).

BUT THERE'S A CATCH - you can only pick each NFL team ONCE. So don't burn your Playoff and/or Superbowl Favs too early!

This will be a SELF-POLICING game - no bloody overworked commissioner. We will all verbally BEAT you if you cheat. So no fast ones, please."
