I'll be interested to see how both of these turn out. I recently tried a blueberry cider at a local cider mill and really liked it.

It's my first shot at cider. The commercial stuff that is out now is not very good. About 15 years ago when cider wasn't very popular the hard cider was much better. I also remember years ago in Bar in the city there was a cider and beer combo called a snakebite, it was could. So if it come out there are more possibilities.

Thank the original recipe called for 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa and adding the raspberry to the wort. I went for 1 cup of cocoa, and will add the raspberry in, in a week.

That dark forest stout sounds good. I've got a can of St. Patrick's and the ingredients for Ye Old Dubliner but may go this route instead...

Did a taste test on the dark forest last night, and it tastes great. I still have not added the raspberry yet, so I am trying to decide to go for it or not.
