I got a phone call from one of my customers, and he aked me what I was doing this weekend, I told him not much just gonna brew on sunday. He then proceeded to tell me he had a cancellation on his trout fishing trip, and wanted to know if I wanted to go. All expenses paid, of course I said yes. I haven't been to this place in 6 years and the fishing is always great. So I leave in 2 hours. I will try to get some pics. WOOHOO. Sorry brew kettle, you will have to wait.

So, wait, you are Not Brewing?
Just kidding. Enjoy your day. Don't let it get around, but I choose sailing over brewing too.

A brew day can always be close at hand...an all expense paid trout fishing trip, not so much. Should be a fantastic time. Enjoy.

It was a fun couple of days, I caught a few of these big ones. Brought home a bunch of fish. Beat my body to death. We drifted the river for over 20 miles the first day, and about 15 the second. The only downside was I had to drink coors light the whole time, but at least I was hydrated. Will get a couple more pics up as soon as I get a chance.

No got home late last night, and the guy that invited me told me to go home and rest ( I did most of the rowing both days) and come back today. He cleaned the rest of the fish and I am going to clean the truck and boat. So I am getting ready to head over there and do my duty.

Second cast of the day. The first cast i caught a german brown about 1 lb and threw it back. I love those browns, they fight like hell and if you don't keep the tip low, they spit the hook out. Don't know how they do it, but they do.

Our boat, I guess I should have cleaned the lens on my phone after I dropped it in the water a little better. The guy I was with is a quite a bit heavier than me so we were doing wheelies down the river when i was rowing. That boat is fully in the water.

Good for you! Sound like he should at least get a trolling motor, 35 miles of rowing kind a sucks!
