Teaser alert! Rumor is that someone is bringing a Hop 15 today (we get together to watch the Saints lose each week) and I'm hoping to have a review later.
Since this person bought it online, I sure hope it's the August version and not the March version but it's gonna get done no matter what.

This was good but not great and I think I was expecting more. The other 2 Port beers I've had were exceptional and while this was no loser, I wanted a tad bit more.
That said, it was very tropical on the nose followed by dank resinous but the taste was pretty much slight grapefruit and piney resin. As it warmed, it was a bit more dry but it starts semi sweet and malty. No way did I know I was drinking a 10% beer. Glad I had friends to share it with because it was a big beer nonetheless. And I'm told they have 2 more left. Oh well, if I have to drink 2 more, I can do that for friends.
