I have bathrooms that need work and I can't wait to tear them apart myself......it's good for stress.
Good luck on your remodel.

Birdie, haven't I seen this scene before? Tell us the truth- you're on the run. You have to keep moving from state to state. Well, when you get to NY, you can stay here. You can even brew here. But I get half the beer. :)

I'm kinda the opposite, I like the putting together new better then tearing apart the old although it is nice to see it gone, but you got to start somewhere. Birdie, looks like you got a good start, show us the progress as it unfolds. I like watching others hard at work :)

I hope everything goes smoothly. It's been a little over a year since we had our WC redone. In addition to the usual stress, we were racing the clock to get it finished before our daughter's wedding. Fortunately, it was; about four days before the big day.

   to both of you.

I agree with you Blackduck I kept asking them if I could swing the sledge hammer at the tile shower and they would'nt let me. :( BeerLord can I wreck your room? :)

@JohnSand Okay you've found me out, Birdie is just an alias, my real name is Wreck 'n Run. I'll leave a coded message in the post I need to crash your pad. :thanks:

It sounds like...... well a construction site in here right now. We currently have zero functioning toilets   I sure hope theses guys don't quit early.

Lookie, I can see the master bath from the hall bath now, or the gaping hole that has replaced it anyway.

That's Tom the plumber standing UNDER the house while being also IN the house. Being a slab person and new to crawl space construction this is kind of anxiety inducing but in an exciting kind of way.

I do love a good crawl space. My house is half basement/garage, half crawl space. The house was built in stages, over decades. So the crawl space has windows and steps that don't go anywhere.

One of the pre-requisites for me when we were house-hunting was NO CRAWLSPACE! I go into enough of them on the job to want one in my own house. It's unfinished, but it's a full basement.

Yesterday I was in a crawl space reaching around a corner to grab a wire I was running and thought I grabbed the wire when in fact it was a mummified rat. FUN
