I rarely have this problem but a spray bottle with water works just fine.
I'm not buying this fancy, wok looking thing.

Yea really. The spray bottle and a little control of the fire works just fine.

That looks expensive. And I want to know who walks away from the best smell on earth when they are brewing. It also looks like something else to clean.

@John, I'm thinking a metal colander like for draining pasta (with bigger openings, not super fine mesh) would probably work.

I was thinking the same Mash. It would break surface tension, and absorb heat.
