Time will tell

Post by FrozenInTime »

Sitting this morn, watching the rain coming down, sure put a killer to the days plans. Wanting to brew, but wanted something quick/easy. Went into the storage room (temp stays at 55) and what do I see? 2 Mr Beer plastic barrels used maybe once or twice before I threw them in the corner. Cleaned them good, could not find any problems, no scratches, etc. Then I looked for some DME, I usually have a few pounds stashed, I use it for yeast starters. I found 3 Brew Demon kits I had picked up 2-3 years back and forgot about. Checked them, no bulges. I figured what the heck, all I will waste is water and time if they don't work out. Today turned out good, sure hope the beer does..... LOL. First one brewed so far is Wild Horse IPA. I used some US-05 I washed sat. from another batch so atleast the yeast will be good. :-)
Life is short, live it to it's fullest!
