Priming

Been a very long time since I have bottled instead of kegging. Me memory is kinda (? LOL) foggy in me old age. I don't remember how much table sugar to put in each bottle to prime. It's an DME kit recipe, an IPA I found and made up. I'm thinking I want around 2.1-2.2 carb. Is the correct amount 1/2 tsp? I feel like such a rookie, can't remember the basic amount.... LOL. Don't have any bottling buckets anymore so batch priming isn't not possible. Anyone want to throw an old dog a bone?

That's a good calculator (as opposed to Tasty Brew) because it allows you to toggle between tsp/oz/grams, etc.
For a 12-oz bottle, you're looking for .445 tsp for 2.2 vols assuming you hit 70 degrees when fermenting. So...pretty close to 1/2 tsp.

Yep, that's the amount that I use for a 12oz bottle, a 1/2 teaspoon, also known as the
Domino Dots sugar cubes, 1 cube = 0.08oz = 2.29g = 1/2 tsp.
