PilotHouse Pilsner - Frisbee's take

Post by T8rSalad »

So I brewed up another one of my personal Ol' MB favorites today with a simple add-in of a bag of booster. Sad part of this whole recipe is with the 2 cans (1.21# each) and .81# bag, the OG still only came in at 1.0459, hoping to get it down to FG =1.011 for an ABV = 4.8%...not bad in the scheme of things as I really don't want a real high ABV from my Pils brew. My point being is that they advertised this without the booster in the 4's @ 4.6%. Oh well, it has been my favorite HME recipe since day one and I only have one can left that I will use a lb. of Light DME and a bag of booster but for now the 7-8 week wait begins.

Sounds great. My next BrewDemon purchase will be the pilsner.
Making beer and stew for the Zombie Apocalypse.
Never mind, there it is.
