So I got a phone call from a long time friend in Houston last night. His father died a couple of months ago, and left him with all kinds of properties to deal with. One of the properties was the prime residence, about 4 acres. My buddy is a city boy (not that there is anything wrong with that), and there is all this equipment that he knows nothing about. He has hired me to come down there and go through everything and get it in working order to go to auction. The pay is not that great, but my friend needs help. I will be heading that way right after our new years party. I am hoping to get hold of Jon and have a beer or two with him. Has anyone heard from him or know how to get a hold of him?

Kind words, thanks. I found out that his dad bought a bunch of brewing equipment, never been used. so I will see what the goodies are. He said I can have it to sell.

Good for you. If you can sell a few things, that's fine, but I'm sure your main motivation is helping your friend.
