Happy Anniversary to me

Post by Beer-lord »

Today makes 32 years of marriage! Wow, I can't believe I'm that old and especially can't believe someone has stuck by me so long. Where did the time go? I'm balder, fatter, uglier and meaner but I'm still married. Miracles still do happen.
It's a pretty crappy time of year to have gotten married as it gets mixed up in all the holiday celebrations but we don't do much anyway except normally do something to the house or other small improvements so it'll be just dinner and "I love you" and move on to #33. :hammer:
Although, it could have ended last night as I came home and she told me a jar of yeast fell out the fridge and went all over the floor. I told her she murdered a living thing and then got a look that told me the body was in the garbage. :o

So since it's a boring week, I think everyone should post how long they have been married and we'll see how many competitors I have.

Wow congrats! That's quite a few years to be married to the same person. It's been 24 years since I said "I do".

Congrats!

Come April we will be at 35 years. We had planned on doing this anniv. in Hawaii as my daughter was going to do their wedding there a couple weeks before. Well.... LOL, dau. is fickle. Now they are going to do it who knows where, we can only afford one trip this coming year so she had better get it figured out just where we are going. One day it's Oregon, Next it's home in Seattle. So as it stands, we are not sure where we are doing the 35th at. I keep telling them, go to Vegas, do the drive through then go to Hawaii for the Honey-Moon. Then we could do our anniv. in Hawaii. Time will tell..... fickle kids.... LOL

Congrats BL...........32 years of marriage is quite an accomplishment now days.................
I've been married 25 years this time and there will be many more... I say this time as I was married for 7 yrs. once before, I guess the first one wanted someone different then a beer drinking, Mechanic, motorcycle riding, jeep driving, farm kid..............Maybe someone that owned and flew an airplane instead of what I did, oh well another story and forgotten history and that is good..........I did have a 2 year VACATION in between and that was a wild ride :laugh
Edit: I got a really REALLY good wife now that has the same goals as me and that is the best I could ever ask for.................

Congrats to you both! We must be crazy for picking this time of year to get married. Did you need a tax deduction too? :jumpy:

Congratulations to you and your wife on your anniversary, sorry to hear about your yeast hopefully that wasn't your last jar. I can remember when my wife and I were newlyweds like you but that was about 9 years ago. My wife and I will be celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary in a few months and to think back then friends of ours thought it wouldn't last. Happy Anniversary!
