Seems like the NFL has a bunch of great games scheduled for the first week. Many division rivalries and almost all, conference rivals.....Ravens and Broncos, Cowboys and Giants, Saints and Falcons, 9ers and Packers. Week one is going to make a lot of conversation for later in the season.
What ya got planned?
Me, I'm going to a friends house to watch it on a huge screen/projector tv. Lots of eats and homebrews then some jamming after the game. You've got to start off right and practice every week until it's over.

Gonna watch the greatest matchup of all-time, Cardinals v Rams, with my best friend of 36+ years...SWMBO. Depending on the how the Cards are doing after the 1st 3 series dictates whether I will waste the rest of the game watching them or watching the grass grow out back. Oh yea & with Frisbee and some homebrews and smoked sausages.

Cheering on the 49ers with some friends. Not sure if we will be at my house or his yet. He has a 12 foot HD projector that I have yet to see, but I have kegs of beer here.....

Giants Cowboys. Night game so probably watching it at home. Which means - in typical Giants night game fashion - that I'll probably be up until 12:30 on a work night to watch the G-Men blow it at the end and curse them out for keeping me awake, which leads to me swearing that I'll NEVER stay up to watch them at night again because they suck at night games, only to rinse and repeat the next Giants night game!

Well, I have mixed feelings. I'm a Jets fan, but really tired of Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez. I fully expect another poor season, and hope they're both gone for 2014. Normally I would spend opening day at my youngest brother's house with the second youngest, eating pizza and calling the game. But for many complex reasons, my mother is hosting birthday dinner for her husband Sunday at 3. So we'll miss the end of the game (maybe a blessing in disguise). And the second race of the America's Cup is on at four, so I'll miss that too. Thank goodness for computer replays.

Going to watch KC at JAX and also keep an eye on MN at DET. The jury is out on the Chiefs this year so far and the Lions always seem to piss me off by the 2nd or third game of the season.

That's a fumble. And he's not the only guy ever to do it. Seems to me a Cowboy hotdogging a pick before crossing the line had it chopped out of his hands the year they crushed the Bills in the Superbowl.
