I've heard a little about this fairly new experimental hop. I think it originally came in in a very few limited offerings in 2015. But I've never had anything with it. I saw this picture from my LHBS on their twitter feed. Just look at the AA% of this, 31.4%. Holy Cow. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this hop yet.

Now that it's 2017 I can buy hops (remember I quit buying them late last year). This is one I want to try but I'm still holding off on hops a bit longer to reduce my stock.
According to Farmhouse Brewing Supply, their alpha is 12-15 for their 2016 crop. They describe it as "Complex fruity aromas of orange and apricot mesh with hints of black tea-like character and a pleasant fresh herbal bouquet."
But, Hash is not the same. Hop Hash is concentrated and from what I've read, it's pretty much leftover dust and pieces on the equipment that's collected after the process and I think, from the glands themselves but I'm not sure.

I think you're right about the hash part. I think it's everything you described plus part of whole hop leaves all mixed in.

I'd just throw a bunch of that in @5 and say it's done.
