Maintenance tip

Whist kegging 2 beers last night I decided to check my gas hose clamps to make sure they were tight and not leaking gas. I use a manifold and have 3 gas lines from the tank and both the gas side and keg side clamps were loose. No gas was leaking but since I know I tightened them when I put the lines together (long ago) I just thought they would be fine. I guess the temperature changes, use and moving lines around did a number on them because some were quite loose.
Tip of the day, check your hose clamps regularly, especially if you're using more gas than you think you should.

That has happened to me.
In years of fixing my own cars and boats I've learned that no matter how tight you make a hose clamp on install, it always needs to be tightened again.
