I always like to see these stories of homebrewers opening a small place.
I wish them all the sucess.

It's harder now than ever to start from scratch. I said this before and still believe it.......we're going to see a correction soon.

Re: Another homebrewer taking it to the next level
I really believe that depends on the area you are in, here by us there were only a handful or so of breweries/brewpubs 5 years ago. Probably another dozen have popped up since, but that is taking into account going 20 miles east, west and south of Cleveland. I think NE Ohio would benefit from more and most will succeed.Beer-lord wrote:It's harder now than ever to start from scratch. It's the Taxes and fees that stopped me. Too much regulation. oh well, I'll just have to drink all I make. But, I'm willing to suffer.
The Nong Brewery defines "Fermentation" as: Making "Rot" a Good Thing

Well this is pretty crazy! This place is in my backyard. Literally next town across the river from me. I haven't heard about this until I read it here.
Re: Another homebrewer taking it to the next level
Yikes! Upon further review, I have learned of where this place will be located. The building is where bar owners locate to go out of business! I have lived in the same area all my life, this place is just bad luck for anything that has ever been in there. The location is out in nowhere. The Old Mill guys that frequent the bars around here will never pay a premium to drink good beer. Hopefully I'm wrong but if history taught me anything, it taught me that anything that moves into the old Supranos, JDs Roadhouse, antique store, flea market, motor cycle shop, etc. etc., moves in to die!
