I've seen many pictures of the BrewDemon with a black spigot, mine came with white one. Is there a difference other than color?

I don't have a BD fermenter, but would guess to say if it fits and doesn't leak you're good to go. I know my MrBeer spigots were white when I was brewing in those fermenters.

Also regardless of color don't over tighten it. Just snug enough not to leak.

I've got a new one with the black spigot, but now on the site they're back to white. As long as it works like it's supposed to, you're good.

I just got a 2 gal that came with a black spigot.

I just bought a 2 gallon fermenting tub from brewdemon and it had a black spigot, but it lasted 2 brews and it broke. I have since seen lot of reviews that there's also broke. Maybe they are changing them?. I got new ones from Amazon

Do you have a link for the spigots you found on Amazon?

I got the small BD Conical for Christmas for my small batches, I would like to have a replacement on hand.

These are the ones I bought . Seem to work fine gasket on both sides, replaced both mine, these have up down not the spicket left right type.

Those are exactly the same as they came with in the "old days".

They list them as for coolers and stuff. Like a big old 20 cup coffee maker ..
