Least Favorite/ Can't Stand Craft Breweries

The other day I was out for dinner with SWMBO and I ended up having a Goose Island IPA with my dinner. After a few sips of this IPA it just wasn't all that great. It then occurred to me that I had never really had a beer from Goose Island that I could actually say I liked or that I enjoyed. I don't know if it's me or if there is something they do, some process or ingredient that just doesn't agree with my tastes.
So is there a particular brewery that is your least favorite or that you just can't stand that others seem to really enjoy?

Since Goose Island was bought in 2011 by AB InBev, I wouldn't classify them as a Craft Brewery though.

There are two: Coney Island Brewing Company and Clown Shoes Beer.
Coney Island is hit or miss with me. Some of what I've tried has been pretty okay, but nothing that stands out. And there are some that just miss the mark completely, for my money. We visited Coney Island last summer with my daughter and son-in-law, and had a flight at the brewery. Out of the four, I only really liked one.
Clown Shoes is a flat-line beer for me. Nothing stands out, and I've tried their brown ale, their IPA, and some other stuff, but none of it seems exceptional or memorable, except in that I remember that it wasn't such a much. If I want a good beer from the New England area, I'll buy Harpoon or Smutty Nose.

Good Point. Maybe it's the AB InBev taste I don't like!

The only thing I've had from Coney Island Brewing is the Hard Root Beer. Hopefully that isn't a representation of all they offer.

I've honestly don't remember having anything from Clown Shoes before!? Hmmm.

Just shows how everyone taste is different. I'd take Clown Shoes over Harpoon or Smutty Nose.
Goose Island only has one beer I like and it's their Bourbon Barrel series.

Goose Island beers have been changed since the buyout. They used to be a pretty legit craft brewery. But if you ever get a chance to visit the actual brewpub it is still really good. And they serve a few beers that the buyout discontinued.
Their IPA is hit and miss, it's and English IPA trying to fit in. I would agree sometimes it isnt all that good.
For me it's Sam Adams. I respect the hell out of the company and their products but the beers just don't do it for me. Many of them just taste too similar...as in too much of a signature taste. They need to Branch out from their standard base malt and house yeast to give the different beers some diversity. I know that's what makes them who they are but for me the beers are just too similar. IMO

This is one for me for sure. It's just all non-descript beer for me, which may be good for people moving from BMC to craft, but none of them have enough flavor for me. And I used to really like the Old Zezziwig.
The other one, hold on to your hat, is Sierra Nevada. I don't *dislike* them, I'm just never wowed by them. It's always "ok" but never bad nor great.

I'll stick close to home and say Abita because they use to be much better or my tastes have just evolved. They have some specialty beers that are ok but for the most part, their standard line of beers are just meh for me. Not bad, just nothing to say 'craft' to me.

I agree with Abita, I haven't liked any of their stuff I've tried.

Maybe a little unusual, but I don't care for New Belgium. People seem to love Fat Tire, but I don't. I tried some others I don't recall, but didn't like them either.

Ha Ray, I've been going to reply to this post when I got around to it and say Magic Hat.....Magic Hat #9 almost made me puke and would never think of trying it again............It is funny how we all have a little different taste, John Sand doesn't care for New Belgium, but Fat Tire is one of my favorite beers and I make a really good clone of it.

Another vote for Magic Hat too. All their beers just tasted off and I haven't had one in 10 years.

Yuck. Also do not like.
Goose Island used to make decent beers, but they aren't the same anymore. Also FWIW the last time I got Goose Island IPA was when the stuff got tampered with by InBev and wasn't so good anyways, and as they also had started branching out into sours, and apparently were doing them under one roof at that time, so I got an infected batch of lesser quality anyways Goose Island IPA. Lacto Sour and Bitter just do not go together. The whole six pack was sour like that, it wasn't a bottle thing or a bad tap or the like. And that was just so nasty I can't even stand looking at the stuff anymore. I see a six pack of that now and it makes me think "bleah!"
