Saw it, I'll try it sometime when its warmer. Its spec sheet says it is a good bit more fruity then the London ESB strain, and even Windsor strain. So, it looks to be more like a more estery English strain. You probably could suppress the esters by fermenting it on the very cold end, but that's just silly IMHO. (IE use another yeast if no flavor is desired).

So that's ok with me, but maybe not for some people. I think it would probably play nice with fruity/tropical hops. Looks to have no significant phenols, so if that's what someone dislikes about "yeast that makes flavor" that shouldn't be an issue. I might try it in a beer that I would have used some Ringwood or West Yorkshire strain yeast in as well as some NE/English style IPAs.

Just saw a post from Drew Beechum that it won't be available in homebrew size packets till later next year, as of now it is available in the pro sized bricks.
