Jane found short ribs on sale. I'm tempted to slow cook them in the Akorn. Any suggestions?

Beef ribs just as if you were doing brisket, low and slow to break down the connective tissue and take to around 200 deg. internal temp.

I've haven't done short ribs yet. Thought this is for WSM
The Virtual Weber Bullet has a lot of good tips and recipes. With a couple of

That recipe looks fantastic. I’m gonna have to give those a whirl sometime.

I defrosted these in the fridge, sprinkled them with Montreal Steak Seasoning, and smoked them in the Akorn. Jane was ready to eat at dinnertime(?), so I pulled three ribs and put them on the Smoky Joe to sear. Jane liked those, the rest are still going toward 200.

He said that he defrosted and smoked some of the ribs. His wife was hungry so he finished a few on Smoky Joe while leaving the rest on the smoker and she apparently enjoyed them.
But I'm just paraphrasing here.
