New Canadian Blonde, Old Canadian Draft

It's safe to assume that these are essentially the same? In other words if I have a recipe I like with Mr. Beer Canadian Blonde I assume I could make the same with Brewdemons repackaged Canadian Draft when it comes available and it'll wind up more or less the same?

Never used the Canadian Draft so don't know the difference...if there is any at all...

High Country Canadian Draft is nothing like Canadian Blonde at all.

Brew Demon says that the malt mfg. in Austrailia claims that HCCD and West Coast Pale Ale were the exact same HME in different cans. I've asked Sam about that a couple of times because I loved HCCD and I hated WCPA. I have to assume that the difference in the brews was due to what I added to each.

So....until BD comes out with an actual Canadian HME, you could get an American Prophecy and give that a whirl.

Like Wings, I didn't think HCCD and WCPA were similar. The consensus in one old thread on the old MB site was that HCCD was best fit the specs of a blonde ale.

OK, so we'll give the American Prophesy a shot then when I place the order.

Thanks!

And my next question would be what would your thoughts be on doing a double batch in a fermenting bucket, replacing the Liquid Brew Enhancers with a 3.3 lb can of LMS?
