Ok...
brewed a Mild yesterday, adjusted the gap on my Corona mill and used my new 7 amp
Skil drill to grind...got a good crush, maybe a little too fine.

Beer-lord, used the test strips and checked the PH, from what I could tell, and this is just eyeballing,
it was somewhere between 5 and 6...maybe closer to 6.

Hit all the volumes perfectly, and came in 8 points high on pre boil gravity!
Had maybe a cup or so of wort left when I transferred it to the fermentor this morning.
I'll take that but it's still not right...overcompensated maybe?

Glad things are looking up for you. I prefer my ph to be in the 5.2-5.6 range so you weren't terribly off but see how it comes out and adjust next time.
