Too much?

Put together the MM2 I bought since my Barley Crusher is dying (I could have just bought new rollers but that's not how I roll----get it?).
This is the same gap I used on the BC, .035 (factory was .039 but since I BIAB, I thought .035 was better and it's worked for me).
But, this looks a bit finer than what I'm used to.
Some of what you see as full kernels were from when I first tried it but I set it tighter and now it looks very much like what I've been using. Only real way to know is to brew.

Cool, how do you like it? Love mine. That looks courser than my grind. I'll measure my gap and report back.

It's uber fast and I think I've got it adjusted now. Didn't post back but I am down to .034 and it looks very good. It's harder to see with darker crystal but when using pale malt, it's definitely milling fine. However, I'm still got 2 or 3 more test brews with the new E system before I feel I'm on my way to the new normal for me.

Some say that a fine grind is an asset in BIAB. My corona type produced plenty of flour, with no problems in the brew.

Right. On BIAB, many recommend double crushing. But if you're going to fly sparge, you may have difficulties. Many don't sparge with BIAB though.
