Homebrewcon 2019 - Providence

Anyone planning to attend Homebrewcon (a.k.a., NHC) in 2019?
https://www.homebrewcon.org/
Taking place in Providence, RI this year. (1 hour from Treehouse, 1 hour from downtown Boston)

I have never given any thought to attending past iterations, but this one is only 90 minutes from home, so I'm thinking about it.
Does anyone have past experiences to share?

I wish I could. I hope to go to one of this one day but it's not the best time of the year for me.
You should go if you can. Great people and tons of fun from what I hear.
Go for me and take lots of video. I'll drool!

Just a few hours from me, longer if I sail. It would be interesting, I'll keep kit in mind.

If I was only an hour and a half away, I would definitely go. That's got to be a good time.

If you did it you'd drive right past my house and then Steve's house too. So you could get some brews along the way.

And very close to me along the way. I don't think you could get there after a stop at Dave's, Steve's then my place....LOL

You'd actually be passing by a few miles from my house, too. I could have a growler ready for you....

Not only passing by the few mentioned, but Rickbeer and Leigh before you get by Mash and me!

Unfortunately for Homebrew Con we are doing an Alaskan cruise in June. :(

I'm not sure what route you'd be taking through Utah, but each of the most likely routes would pass about 20 miles from my house (although it's possible that I'd be in Maryland at the time).

This, alone, piques my interest. :)

I'm interested in seeing the daily schedule of events, once that's released. I'm thinking about doing one day/evening (perhaps club night, whichever night that would be), then crashing in a nearby fleabag motel and driving home the following morning. Still just in the  phase, though...

Well, crap, I didn't realize that Homebrewcon is basically an all-or-nothing registration.
I was thinking/hoping that you could pay "a la carte" for certain days, or even more granular than that, but on the website it looks like you sign up for the whole three-day event, or not at all. That's fine for long-distance travelers, but those who are nearby and hoped to drop in and back head out...not so much.
I can't justify paying $200-300 for a three-day registration if I only can spend one day and night in Providence.
I'm sure it will be a great time, but I simply can't make that kind of commitment. :(
