Pumps?
I'm thinking of adding a pump to my gear. There are cheap ones, expensive ones, and some pretty nice used ones. Do you use one? Which, and why?

Never mind, there it is.

A lot of people in the Mash n Boil group(s) speak highly of the pump that Berryman linked to.

Re: Pumps?
I got the Blichman Riptide when I got my electric system and love it. It ain't cheap though but it's so quiet you really don't know it's on. It can't be used with temps above 200 (so what) and comes apart for cleaning uber easy.
I still have an older pump I keep as a spare but I must admit, I hear alot about the Mark II and for it's price, it seems amazing. But if you are uber rich like me, look at the Riptide.

I have this one as well. It has worked great and seems well built and durable. The price is great too.berryman wrote:John, I have two of these https://www.williamsbrewing.com/Mark-II ... P4028.aspx Seems to be a good pump, but I should have went with the SS head and can upgrade if I want sometime,

I bought a generic SS magnetic from Amazon, it worked well in a test.
