Bitburger, Maybe

I was at a fundraiser last night with dozens of people and one bartender. They had Bud, Heineken, Two Hearted and Bitburger. I got a Bitburger for me, white wine for my wife. I've had Bitburger before, I like a pilsner when I'm out. On my second one, I noticed the word "Drive" in red on the label. I was drinking NA beer without realizing it. I did not panic and rush to the bar to get a Bell's and redeem my Manly Brewer Cred. I gave my wife a taste, she compared it to Amstel Light, which is her favorite light beer. This whole thing started me thinking about options, decent NA or low alcohol beer, maybe even for brewing. Last year I started a thread on Tafelbier, but I haven't brewed it. I have had success brewing Rye PA at 4% with plenty of flavor and body. I've also recently cut back on my beer drinking to lose weight, or at least not gain anymore. Do any of you drink or brew low or no ABV? Any tips to maintain flavor and body? I'm not really looking to clone BMC light, but find a craft option.
