so my plan was to brew a quick 25 min extract batch and i totally forgot to add extract till last 10mins in boil

i steeped 60z carapils and 6oz of white wheat for 30 mins before adding the hops which was 20 grams of perle


so i boiled the steeped grains and the 20g of perle for bout 15 mins till i realized the 4# of wheat dme was still sitting on counter(ooooooppps)

so i added dme and the rest of hops at 10 and 5 min additions im thinking it will be a lil hoppier than planned but hopefully still drinkable?


anyone ever make this bonehead mistake and still have a decent beer?

You'll be fine.

When I did extract batches I often added the extract at the end of the boil.

You may notice a lighter color to your brew.

You probably made better beer believe it or not.
