Passing the can-Help keep this forum open

Post by Beer-lord »

Last summer I asked members to share a few pints of beer (in dollar form of course) so that Leigh can help pay the hundreds of dollars it costs every year to keep this forum open. I think many of us simply never even think about the cost of forum operation. Nothing is free except the information we share with each other here.
Please consider how much you enjoy nerding out on beer talk and please send a donation so that Leigh is not having to pay the full amount of the cost. Simply go to the home page and click on the yellow Donate button on the right side of the page. While you're at it, let Leigh know you appreciate his time and efforts to keep this community going with a note.

Thank you for participation in this forum. We're a small group but the knowledge and experience here and the speed of getting help as well, is something rare in forums.

For full transparency, I forgot about my donation but made one before posting this message!

:thanks: :urock: :bbwelc:

BL, Help me out on this if you can, I remember now I tried to donate quite a few times but couldn't get it to work so I asked if buying some tee's would help and got some a few times. Just tried with my laptop and my phone again and can't make it work. It keeps wanting to go to pay Pal and not my card. I do have a pay pal but haven't used it in a long time and don't know the passwords.

To my knowledge, there are no t-shirts available now and were on an order only basis. I may be wrong but I think that is the case.

But doesn't the credit/debit card option work? I trust this place and would use it and be done or last resort could be like the old days with a check in the mail Ha Ha....

So you are saying, the option below does not work for you? If so, I'll have to get with Leigh to see if there is a problem with it.

First, thank you everyone for supporting this site. I really appreciate it. I've been busy lately with my daughter's pending wedding in October and this bill really snuck up on me. SWMBO is a little unhappy with me at the moment.

berryman, make sure you type in the amount you are wanting to donate first, before you click on the "Donate with a Debit or Credit Card" button. That should allow you to type in your card and billing information.

If you want to try donating another way please send me a pm or email and we can set something up.

Thanks again for your generosity!

Yes, the yearly hit did come right out of his account.
Totally understand the repair stuff. My not even 2 year old fridge had a bad fan and cost me $475 freaking dollars. Everything made now is shyte.
Whenever you can share your wealth, just drop it in the can and it'll be appreciated.

Thanks everyone for even considering a donation. I realize that everyone has bills to pay and by no means do I want anyone to donate if you can't justify it or if it's not financially possible for you.

If you still want to contribute and help out without sending money directly you can use any of the following options.
  • 1. Clicking on the ads that are on this site can help a lot since it sends a small kickback to BeerBorg for every click.

    2. If you shop on Amazon at all go to the BeerBorg Marketplace link first and shop from there and BeerBorg will get a kickback for anything you buy just by using that link. It doesn't need to be the actual product that sent you to Amazon in the first place.

    3. BeerBorg apparel is still available to purchase. I haven't updated any of the designs since the last push but I will get a few bucks for anything you end up purchasing from there. https://teespring.com/stores/the-beerborg-store
Thanks again to everyone. Anything you can do is truly appreciated. :thanks: :urock:
