Good Starsan price. I can stop there on way to inlaws.
Edit - I went to their website, looks like a homebrew store in a janitorial supply company. Noted they are only open Mon - Fri, not weekends.
I don't understand why AHB charges $23.99 for 32 oz of Star San when everyone else is at $15.99. I've brought it up, he said he'd look into it but it's still $23.99.

I saw that price on the StarSan and thought you might like that! I haven't been to this place yet but several of the brewers in my brew club get their bulk grain from here. I'm going to have to make a trip out there soon!

It would be a 7 mile detour for me on the way to the in-laws, the sticking point will be the lack of weekend hours, we only usually go during the week during the summer. 38 miles each way so I'm not going just for Star San

Will need to check the out myself will be needing some 2-row soon. I would have to stop on the way home from work. Otherwise I am in the same boat as Rick. I would cost more in gas then to have the grains shipped
Ya know dudes we need to be getting together for a brew this winter!!

Just got back from
Adventures in Homebrewing, bought ingredients for a extract Amber, and LME and Carafoam to do 4 Mr. Beer batches, so I'm covered for the next 6 weeks of brewing. But I didn't buy Star San...

Just did the math it would have to a big purchase to make it worth the trip. Just $2.95 more and is delivered right to my door. You are aware that is a Ezell Supply is a janitorial supply store??

I saw that too... I figure if I'm near there during the week sometime I'll get some Star San, otherwise stay with my current purchasing.

I have been to Ezell supply multiple times. If you can get over the fact it is a cleaning supply company first, with a few homebrew supplies available, you can shave several dollars off the cost of each batch. I work on that side of town so it is not out of my way. I normally just let fellow Club members know when I am going to go, and pick up whatever it is they need. Then they pick up up from me.

They had a chance to win me over the past weekend, but alas they aren't open on the weekend. I literally drove through Royal Oak.

Glad you found us! I've yet to make it there but I'm hoping to get there soon to check it out! Anything to save a buck or two!

I was in the area today so I stopped in. Basically it's a very well organized small room, the size of a bedroom, with grains neatly stacked, a mill, a small refrigerator, a selection of dry yeast, a few bottles of Star San, and some Orange Peel. They were out of Coriander.
I bought a quart of Star San for $15.99 that AIHB sells for $23.99. I didn't compare grain prices as I don't do AG and buy my grain in 1 lb or less increments.
Very nice person showed me the room, very pleasant.
