Enjoy By vs. Ruin Ten

Post by Beer-lord »

So, tonite, one night later for dinner and jam night, 4 of us tried a side by side of Enjoy By and Ruin Ten. Before we had them is was 2 to 2.....2 of us like Enjoy By and 2 of us like Ruin Ten better. Then we had glasses of both and in just 15 seconds, we all agreed Enjoy By was better.
Though both were very enjoyable, Enjoy By is just so different, so good, so unique, it's better.

Ron, thanks for sending me the 'I can't get this' Enjoy By 9/13/13. We met it's Enjoy By date by 1 day. :hammer:  :hammer:

Somehow I'm ready for night-night now!

I like the Enjoy By better also. Not sure why, I just do. I too have a bottle of the 9/13/13 to drink....Thanks Ron!!! And since today is the last day before I would have to pour it out, I'll drink it tonight after I get home from picking apples with my wife and daughter!!!

I am such a nice guy, I share these gifts with friends but if I had to drink 1 bottle by myself, it certainly would be AFTER I picked apples and not before.

The aroma is the huge difference to me. Sure the taste is very different but with Enjoy By, the nose hits you right away. Huge tropical flavors......pieces of pineapple, mango and coconut come right out front. Then your met by pure dankness at the end. For the type of beer I like to drink, that just does it for me.

Enjoy the apple picking and enjoy Enjoy By!

Maybe the aroma is why I like it so much. Your right, it really does hit you it the nose....and it's awesome.

I drank my last one this past weekend. It was my dog's 1st birthday so it seemed like a good reason to me.

Agreed. These are both FINE FINE FINE beers. The quality of Stone beers is only matched by a few breweries (and some of you fine people......I'm talking PLINY here, folks!).

While I like Ruination, the Ruin Ten is MUCH more balanced to my taste and it's one of my top 5 beers but the Enjoy By is more fragrant, which adds to my pleasure.

So thank you guys for sharing them. Much appreciated.
