It was quite an experience. When I get time to get on my laptop I will do a write up and finalize my first impressions of my conical.

Good to hear you got a batch done and bottled with your new and shiny toy before surgery. Keep us posted on the results.

Sounds good! Bet that must have taken quite a while to bottle such a large batch.

Roger, with all the things you already know, I imagine the learning curve isn't very steep at all. As with anything new, there's going to be a breaking-in period, but that's normal, and you'll soon formulate your own method.

Dave I did figure a lot of things out I will do differently as I went. This was just breaking new ground for me.

And that's normal. It's even good, I'd say. You have a new piece of equipment, so you have to adjust your procedures to not only work with the conical, but to make it best for your method of doing things.
You'll be fine. And if you have any rough spots you can always ask Ralph. That's what he's there for, after all.
