Roger was kind enough to share some beers with me and the first I'm trying is his Kitchen Sink IPA.
First, it's highly carbed though he mentioned this to me. However, the taste is not overcarbed....nice. What a beautiful meringue head it has even with an easy pour!
The aroma is tropical with a slight grapefruit and very minor orange aroma.
The taste is slightly sweet, with a nice mild bitterness and it starts and finishes just about the same...nice!

I like to let the beers warm up near the end to see how it differs. I always find the hops shine more at warmer temps and that's the case with Kitchen Sink. It gives off more of a citrus flavor even a slight lemon zest flavor.
I really like this beer. Easy drinking, crisp, clean taste. Man, I have to say, I've yet to taste a beer that someone sent me that I didn't like. There are a great bunch of brewers here. Cheers to you all and thanks Roger for the brews. I'll try the others and post as I go. Fortunately, I have lots of beers so it may take a while to get to them all.

I am glad you like it. As I said I pour my beers extremely slow for clarity. If I don't over carb them a bit I get no head on them. Next time keep your glass tipped and don't pour directly into the beer until it is almost full. That way you can control the amount of head you get on it. And if you pour slow enough it will come out crystal clear.

^This^ except that I'd say "...that wasn't brewed well" instead of "...I didn't like..." since there have been a few that didn't fit my taste. But it's easy to tell that each one was brewed by a damn good brewer.
