Hello,

My name is Nathan, I got the Brewdemon kit for father's day from my loving kids and wife. I am very excited as I needed a new hobby and I think this will be fun. I can't wait to experiment some and hopefully make some good beer (no IPAs).

home-beering is one of those unique time-filling hobbies with the added benefit it makes something to fill even more time and it tastes great too ...

Welcome.

I predict that within a few years, you'll be more open to IPAs. I used to hate them. Almost af much as I hated stouts. I love both of those styles now.

I'm not saying you'll love them, but I'll bet you won't be as likely to reject them out of hand.

Welcome!

Most of what I make are not IPAs. But I do make them.

So I'll just add IPAs <> IPAs. There is a huge variety here. If you like the flavor or some of the flavors (citrus, or piney or spicy, or dank/dope like), but not the bitterness... you can do that as a home brewer. And it doesn't have to be an opaque chunky NEIPA to do it either. Or if you like the bitterness, but not the flavor, then you can also do that, by brewing a old school British style IPA. There is a big range here. As a home brewer you can make what you like. That's the best thing about being one. Make beers you like.
