A Handy Book

My wife had a book delivered to me today. Hop Variety Handbook by Dan Woodske a very handy book on hop varieties in plain English that the rest of us can understand
"The Complete Joy of Homebrewing" by Charlie Papazian and "How to Brew" by John Palmer are two books every homebrewer should have, especially those new to the craft. There are plenty of others, such as "Brewing Classic Styles" by Jamil Zainasheff & John Palmer, and "Clone Brews" by Tess and Mark Szamatulsky. A couple of them may be beyond your skill and understanding if you're very new to brewing, but stick with it, and you'll eventually get to the point where you can make use of the information they contain. This is what happened to me. I hadn't even brewed a batch yet, and I snatched up a copy of "Radical Brewing" by Randy Mosher. It was confusing and intimidating, and I set it down, wondering if I'd ever be able to understand it. And a couple of years later, after progressing from HME batches through extract batches and up to all-grain batches, I picked it up, and suddenly a lot of what seemed like mumbo-jumbo alchemy now made perfect sense.dad2all5 wrote:Thanks, new to homebrew scene do you recommend any other books.
