It's taking me some time to review the beers I've gotten (thanks to all) and here's another one from gymrat.
All Columbus hops? Yep, you heard right! As with the Kitchen Sink, it poured with lots of creamy head but is not over carbed (how does he do that?). The pic doesn't show it but it's crystal clear!
Aroma: I didn't get as much aroma as I expected at first but as it warmed up, I did get some slight sweet caramel notes and citrus.
Taste: A very even taste, meaning, it tastes the same from beginning to end which is not a bad thing, just that I normally notice more bite at the end of most IPA's. This has a mild, bitter bite all the way thru (thank you Columbus) but the malt carries it very well.
It's 7.2% and while there is no heat, I can tell it's a higher ABV beer. It's crisp and enjoyable and my only critique is that I enjoy it much more warmer (but that's my taste) and I don't get much flavor when it's very chilled. The hops shine when it warms a bit.

Thankyou for the nice review. This was a hop bursted beer. There were no bittering additions. Which would explain why there was no bitter finish. Which is something I have been trying to eliminate in my IPAs.

Looks great, "No Bitter Taste" that's why I shy away from IPA"s. I hate the bitter taste. I am going to attempt a recipe change using Brew Demons IPA with a Mellow Ale hoping it will cut the over bitter. ![silly :urock:](./images/smilies/yourock.gif)

Dad that should cut some of the bitterness. Then you could add hops the last 10 minutes of the boil to get some hop flavor. Hop bursting is not adding any hops until the last 15 or 20 minutes before the end of the boil.

I've also found that FWH then all late additions (20 minutes and less) help give the beer some smoothness.
I think Roger has his down. To be smooth and follow thru from front to back using Columbus is great because Columbus is a big hop.
