Neat idea but for about $2600 minimum shipped to the US it's more then I would be willing to pay at this point!

It's a really neat idea, and is great for consistency and repeatability, but I think that's really something that's best left for commercial brewing. Plus, the cost is just way out of range for me! I'll stick to SMEIBBing!

Remember this one as well... $4500 minimum. Ouch...

That williamswarn one looks fantastic, but again, the price. I may as well make a brew pub or small tap room.

I think it's a cool idea and will be a good product.

The Kickstarter minimum for a working Brewbot is fairly high...

Wonder if that will end up being the go-to-market price or if they can get them down a little.

Still, it's competetive with propane fired brew sculptures on the low end.

All the copper I see in the videos should be changed to Stainless Steel before production to avoid oxidation from dissimilar metals, for durability, for ease of cleaning etc.

Speaking of which, it would be nice to see a grain in/grain out video and a complete CIP video that shows a full cleaning cycle.

Support for Arduino and any associated modules has to be considered, as well as any support for whatever processing solution they come up with... Some component of Apple support may be required... A forum would be nice as well... Just sayin...

Frankly, this is not a bad deal for a fully automated 3-vessel system. A 20L Braumeister is $2000 and is much less flexible.

Could this be the way homebrewers brew in the future?

It does seem pretty reasonable considering it is also fully automated which is quite a chunk of change on a propane stand.

It would take all the fun out of brewing.

$2600? ouch! i believe i'll just stick to old school brewing.

I dont think it could eliminate traditional brewing in that sense. One would still need to brew by the seat of the pants to put a new recipe together and dial it in. What this does is once you have a recipe you like and would like it to become a "house beer" you can get repeatable results just like a commercial brewer. However, for the money being spent you are locking yourself in to one size whereas a brew stand you can - up to a point - just get some bigger pots.
