Anybody remember the MB English Strong Ale Seasonal from 2011? Well, I just found 12 bottles dated 11-27-11 way in the back of the beer shelf!
Not sure how I missed them for almost 2 years now. Going to pop a couple in the fridge for a few days to see how it held up over the last 22 months. If I remember right, that was a pretty decent brew. Will find out and report back this weekend (if I survive the tasting

)...

Can't wait to hear how this turns out....you might be pleasantly surprised. I'm not familiar with the recipe, but I would think a strong ale might do OK.

I brewed that once, thanks to Inkleg! Sent Louie a 1L bottle of it too! It definitely was a stronger taste than anything I ever had at the time.

I really liked that one. I had one can left over that I brewed about 18 months ago. I still have a couple of bottles left and the last one I drank about a month ago was still very good.

Took the plunge a couple nights ago, and am still here to tell the tale. Nice thick tan head on the pour. Had a little twang right away, but the flavor improved a lot when it warmed up a bit. Had a slight alcohol "burn" to it. Not in a bad way though. Not great, but pretty darn good for sitting in the basement for 2 years. Will have to throw the rest in the fridge. Looks like I have a "Winter Warmer" for the crisp fall nights!
