My 2nd batch ever is a MB Oktoberfest deluxe. Bottled and conditioning. Maybe by the end of October I'll try one. I'm a little apprehensive as I had too high of a ferment temp on this as well as my first batch. Anyways, happy October!

The wait is over! Tried one last night and I was pleasantly surprised. Tasted just right. Incentive to keep trying.

Great pic, nice looking head and looks very clear. Well done. Now what I want to know is why it says fermenting: empty :( on the bottom of this post.

Thanks Brewbirds. "Fermenting" won't be empty long. Planning on doing an IPA next. Thinking I will try Brew Demon's Wild Spirit IPA. Deciding if I want to do an hop addition or not. Leaning towards not, so that I can have a base reference.

It gets even better in a few more weeks. I thought it was good at 4 weeks, after 7 or 8 I couldn't get enough of the stuff.
