I hooked up with k9dude after the gate closed on the RCE, and we exchanged some PMs on what we wanted to do, and came right up to the edge of nailing it in place, and then I stopped hearing from him. I sent him a couple of PMs, but he hasn't responded, and I'd like to brew the recipe (I believe) we settled on this weekend.

So I'm going to go to the LHBS on Saturday, pick up what I need for it, and brew it on Sunday, whether I hear from him or not.

But it's strange.

Life throws some curve balls so maybe he's one of those people who really have to work. I say, brew on.
I'm also planning on doing my portion of the collaboration brew sometime next week. Thanks to you and Rick, I'm trying a beer I've never heard of or tasted but from what I see of the recipe, it looks right up my alley.

You could send him an email through the forum here and see if he responds. He may not have notification set up for PMs.

Louie, he must have PM notifications, because I sent him PMs through this process.

I like most people here (I think) have email notification set up for when a PM is recieved here on the Borg. Some people choose to turn that email notification off and only be notified when they visit the forum. If k9 turned off email notifications for PMs then he won't see them until he comes back on. The last time he visited the forum was early on Monday morning. So sending him an email through the forum might work whereas that PM may not!

Last time I PM'd him was over the weekend, since I wanted to order the stuff from Northern Brewer so it would arrive by Friday or Saturday, so he's been on the site since then.

Dave, don't stress so much, not good trust me !I'm sure K9 will be in touch . Some people get affected more by this crap going on than others .
