The Beer Borg

I’ve been asked to add input to the Beer Borg site. I’m pretty happy to be doing that. This will be an introduction.
I started brewing with Mr. Beer back in 2007. The wife insisted I get a hobby as she was tired of me running around looking for something to do. My original thinking was: “A Mr. Beer Kit? What the heck is that?”
Long story short.. I got the kit. I figured what the heck, even if it’s a bust, it wasn’t costing that much. Silly me. After the first batch of Beer, I was hooked. I was surprised I actually made beer. I was under the impression that you had to be a major brewery with Brew Masters to be able to make beer. 2007 was a LONG time ago.
I started with the basic brews, moved up to the advance brews, flapped my keyboards on the MB community board, learned alot, moved on to adding LME’s and then DME’s…then starting with DME’s as a base and adding hops. Once the methods were nailed down, I ventured into All Grain as well.
So, if you’ve questions about beer..AND cider, feel free to ask.
As a foot note, my wife says I can make all the cider I want..as long as it’s just her that gets to drink it..I wonder about her.
