With shipping two sacks cost me $79.45 which comes out to somewhere
around .72 a lb...
The discount actually paid for the shipping
I now have to come up with a storage solution myself...

Understand, my next move is to visit my local brew store and pick up a couple of new buckets...mashani wrote:
Want to make sure this is clear - this will affect your OG (make it higher/lower). But it doesn't explain 90% attenuation from whatever that is.

Re: I'm stumpified...
Morning guys, Looking back at the recipes I noticed I did change my mash thickness/ratio to 1.5 qts per pound, with that and the mill gap i'm not sure if it would change my efficiency that drastically, because I had no idea how much of the whole grain was making it thru the mill into the mash... My ...

Didn't Mr Beer, which most of us started with, promise drinkable beer within 14 days?
Most of us found out differently, but since going all grain, I can have drinkable beer, with
forced carbonation, within 10 days...

Re: What are you brewing/bottling/kegging?
Kicked two kegs yesterday, so I'm kegging my Sorachi Ace IPA that I brewed on Jan 7... That'll go straight to the keezer. I'll also keg the Blonde Bastard 30 minute experimental brew, throw about 12 hrs of 30 PSI C02 on it, and set it in the corner of my fermentation room to wait for an opening in t...

Re: Timeline
Hard to believe it's been seven years since I started brewing... Started in Feb of 2012 with a Mr. Beer kit I bought during a closeout on Woot... my dental hygienist told me about how her husband and herself had a LHBS and talked me into a visit... they now run a brewery next door to the store. Well...
