Brewdemon yeast
On my first batch the yeast immediately fell to bottom of fermenter. It did ferment and I just bottled. Started another batch and same thing. I don’t recall seeing the yeast settle like that when I made some a few years ago seems strange. I guess if it ferments then it doesn’t matter but thought I w...

I like the look of that clear conical. Six gallon sounds intriguing also.

fg question
I brewed a patriot lager with 1 lb lme and 1/4 cup honey. og was 1.044. I checked fg just now (will be 3 weeks fermenting tomorrow) and I got a reading of 1.010. I pretty much was following the dad's cream ale recipe from mr beer but used lme from the local shop and only 1/4 cup honey vice 1/2 cup h...

yeast question
I am going to be splitting a five gallon batch between two lbk's. I will be doing different lme's in each lbk. can I split a safale us-05 11.5 g packet of yeast between the two lbk's? It is a muntons hme and I have read that the yeast with that is not the best. I thought about trying their yeast in ...

how would this work
wondering how this would work out: buy a cult classic american ale refill (not the kit, just the hme) and add 1 lb lme and ferment in mr beer lbk. I want to try the brewdemon kits but don't want to buy another fermenter since I have the lbk's already.

going crazy
So I got the mr beer kit for christmas (like a lot of others I think) and have since acquired a second lbk and both are fermenting away. I have also gotten more bottles, refill kits, and misc. brew utensils (hydrometer, autosiphon etc). After ordering the second lbk and some bottles, Mr Beer decides...
