Re: Just Ordered the Twisted Monk Witbier 2 Gallon
I bet you'll be very pleased with it. I've made it a couple times for people that prefer lighter beer. Everyone was impressed (even my mom who doesn't like beer). A friend of mine who really likes it is currently brewing a batch that she added 2 cups of watermelon juice to after a few days of fermen...

Looking to brew bigger batches
I am a rookie but the bug has bitten me. I currently use a brew demon and am pleased with everything about it. I have found more variety in extract kits for 5 gallon batches and am looking to get a bigger fermenter. I seen brewdemon lists the big demon as being back in stock soon. I am considering e...

Re: 60 hours into fermenting
Haha. You are probably right. Just a follow up in case others run into this. It really got active Saturday afternoon (started the batch Wednesday night). Nice krausen build up and the airlock pressure shifted and has been bubbling steady since. Just as stated with all of the advice. Patience, patien...

Re: 60 hours into fermenting
Thanks a lot for the positive reinforcement. Haha. I think confidence in the process will be great when I finally stop second guessing myself. I appreciate taking the time to help me out.

Re: 60 hours into fermenting
Hey, thanks guys. I tried posting pics to help, but it said they were too big. It there an amount of time that is too long without a good fermentation? I appreciate the knowledge and help.

60 hours into fermenting
I started my brewdemon brown nut and I am currently 60 hours in. This is only my second batch so I do not really have a reference for "is this normal". I have what I would call some build up on the top, but it isn't as full and covered as my first batch. I added the yeast at 70 degrees and...

2 brewdemon bottles flat
Finished my Pilsner that came with the kit. 6 bottles turned out great. One was totally flat and another was barely drinkable. Followed instructions to the letter and let the bottles sit 8 days consistently at 70 degrees before I put them in the fridge. Since I am new to this, I was wondering if I s...
