Re: Brew Demon One Evil Pilsner
Currently my kegerator is doing great! I have my regulator at 10 psi and 6' of beer line. I must have lucked out with getting it setup to this point. I have done a lot of research and it seems that the setup can be a bit of a trick in some cases. The picture I posted of my beer was a direct pour fro...

Re: Brew Demon One Evil Pilsner
I'll just mention that if you used the included yeast, that's a dry yeast called S-33, and it is a powdery yeast that doesn't flocculate out easily. So it will take a longer time for your beer to clear then if you used a highly flocculent yeast like say Nottingham for example. Would it be a direct ...

Re: Brew Demon One Evil Pilsner
Kealia, LB Steve, bpgreen…. Thanks for great direction! I am going to set my regulator to 12-psi and let it set for the next 10-14 days. That sounds like a pretty sound plan. Seems like having patients is a key to getting the desired results of good brew!

Re: Brew Demon One Evil Pilsner
I think it taste just fine. I guess I am asking if my process was on par with what I should be doing to get good results. Do you have any suggestions on what I have done or what I should tweak with my next run... Skip the secondary. If you bought a kit that included priming sugar, you can add that ...

Re: 2 gallon batches are fun!
No... I have used what I have around the house to finish out my kegerator. That is a 20oz CO2 tank from my son's paintball supplies. I have a 50 lb CO2 tank and refill station that allows me to utilize existing supplies. I designed and 3d printed a spacer to accommodate the smaller tank. Everything ...

Re: Brew Demon One Evil Pilsner
This is my first homebrew batch and I am not sure if I have done it right. This batch has not seem to clear at all... is that correct? I did the primary for 3 weeks, secondary w/ priming sugar in keg for two weeks, and now has conditioned in my kegerator for a week at 37 deg. Am I missing something?...

Re: 2 gallon batches are fun!
Looks good guys! Depending on how much I get into this, I would like to have two BrewDemons going at once... and keg into 2, 2.5 gallon kegs for my kegerator.

Re: 2 gallon batches are fun!
Thanks FedoraDave! I ended up kegging into a 2-1/2 gallon keg. I like the 2 gallon batches because it allows me to have a couple of brews to choose from in my kegerator.FedoraDave wrote:Nice job, Oesh! Looks like those stilts would make bottling a little easier.

Re: 2 gallon batches are fun!
Here is my current setup of my Brewdemon. I extended the base with some 1" PVC... I designed some adapters to work with the PVC. Looks awesome and works great!

Re: Evil One Pilsner questions
Thanks for the update... I was just getting nervous when all the "fun action" has slowed and thought that I might have done something wrong... I am planning on doing my primary for at least two weeks, then bottling. I would eventually like to move to a portable keg system like this.

Re: Evil One Pilsner questions
I am new to brewing... and bought the Brewdemon signature kit... it came with One Evil Pilsner. My question is, do I need to use both yeast packs that come with it? I noticed that each can had a yeast pack and so I put both in at around 70 deg... did I put too much in or is this normal?

Re: Welcome New Members
Welcome Oesh01 and I'm glad you've already got started. The best thing you can do is read as much of the posts here as you can stand (even from silly fools like me and my foolishness) as there are a ton of smart and dedicated brewers here. We're a family of brewers who love to pick on each other (l...

Re: Welcome New Members
Hey guys... I am new to the forum and just want to introduce myself. I am also new to home brewing and look forward to doing this as an enjoyable hobby. I have the Brewdemon conical system and have started my first fermentation. I absolutely love the smell of the brew! I personally am a product desi...
