Yeah,
I'm on a kick of naming my beers after Star Wars things.....don't judge me!
Tapped this over the weekend with my neighbor and we both loved it. HE said it's the best beer I've brewed to-date (and given to him) and one of the top 5 beers he's ever had.
We were 2 beers in already when we tried this, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt, but it is very tasty.
I can see making an IPA version of this too, with a bit more malt presence but as-is, it's a great pale ale IMO.
Laptop issues so I can't paste the actual BeerSmith file right now, but happy to share it for anybody that may want it when that is resolved.

Re: Senator Pale-patine (Simcoe/Denale Pale Ale)
I know those hops are great but what do you think helped make this one so good? I'm thinking the A04 yeast though I've never tried it (yet). But, I do know that doing something different to my beers makes them enjoyable. That's why last year I kept playing with different yeasts and spent some of this year playing with different malts and I wonder if the yeast in conjunction with some MO malt made it stand out.
Plus, you're getting familiar with your new electric system so that's a plus.
All around, it's good news. Thanks for sharing the recipe and the awesome short video in another thread!

I think it's the combination of the Denali/Simcoe and the yeast. I can't say that I pick out stonefruit (from the yeast) but I'm guessing it's in there. Brew this and tell me what you think it is.

I believe I would drink all of that if I was nearby and you weren't keeping an eye on it.
