Really? They couldn't say "marigold" or "daisy"? I had to go Google "calendula".
I think it's pretty cool that for as big as they are now they are doing some cool experimenting.

Finally got to try Suede last night. We paired some with some cookies my wife made from this weekends stout brew....chocolate chip stout beer cookies. It paired up uber well too!
The Suede lived up to it's name. It was very smooth. You can't tell it's 9.6% ABV until it warms up and then, only a tad bit of alcohol warmth.
I tasted more cocoa than coffee but I did get some florals which I assume came from the jasmine and calendula that's in it.It finished with a slightly sweet taste and I very much enjoyed it. Almost like a desert beer. Would have gone great with a cigar too!
If you like stouts and porters, you're sure to enjoy this one.
