That looks like a super useful piece of kit
Re: Spike CF5 conical fermenter
The latest toy/attachment came last night. It's for oxygenating wort through the carb stone.
They put out a nice short video that shows it better than I can explain it:

Re: Spike CF5 conical fermenter
I also forgot post an update on when I used the blow off tube to push Starsan out of a keg to purge it before racking into it. I thought that discussion was in this thread, but I can't recall where it is.
Short story - it worked great - although the last beer was a Berliner Weiss at just over 3% so there wasn't a TON of blowoff. I ended up getting about 1/2 the keg pushed out so I finished it by using CO2 from he tank. On a bigger beer, I have no doubt that it will push it all out.

That thing has so many thingamabobs and whatchamacallits and doohickies. My brewing setup is boring lol.
Re: Spike CF5 conical fermenter
Yeah, it does. And my bank account has a hole in the bottom of it because of it
BUT, it's keeping brewing fun to learn how to use new equipment, new processes, etc.
Man, it's a kick to look back and think that I (a lot of us, actually) started with that little brown keg!
