If I recall werent you going to be in the Ann Arbor area? Two places I like to hit up are Ashley's (not a brewpub but has a great selection) and Jolly Pumpkin.

You also lucked out as it is not a home game weekend.

Thank goodness. I remember getting stuck there when Notre Dame played. Don't wanna do that again. Lol. Might have to check those places out. Also wanna convince swmbo to check AIH out with me while we're there, if we're there.

Been difficult finding free time. And I'm not sure I'll be able to, as we've got some stuff planned with my wife's family. Leaving Wednesday morning at 6 am, so unless we can do late nights today or tomorrow, than I apologize but I probably won't be able to meet any of y'all. :(

Phil:

I'm sorry we didn't get to meet. Been juggling one in-law in Rehab and the other in the hospital, and getting my client's assignment done. Late night for me isn't an option, barely been getting enough sleep as it is. I did take off Saturday to move their clothing and stuff with my kids, then the 4 of us went out for brews and dinner, but it was just Chili's and Sam Adams Oktoberfest. Still tasted good in 22 ounce glasses, both of them

No worries, Rick. It's all good! I had a Sam Adams Oktoberfest this weekend too. It was pretty tasty! The bar that my brother in law's girlfriend works at had some Bells two hearted on tap. Otherwise it was this regular stuff (BMC), blue moon, corona, etc so not much choice. I did see a six pack of new Holland brown ale at meijers but I didn't pick it up.

I don't want to say it to my wife, but I've really enjoyed it here in the mitten. She has been really happy seeing all her family and friends, and I love the weather and the people are so friendly and nice. My biggest reason for not moving up here is being so far away from my family. Who knows, maybe we'll end up here someday. I know if we did move here, my wife's mom and dad would be right behind us.

Ann Arbor was rated the #1 location in the country for 50+ by AARP. One of the reasons for that is the wide breadth of activities to pick from. My wife went to a play with a friend a week ago. $10 each. Sports, top bars, good restaurants. And 4 seasons a year. I love Fall and Spring, then Winter, followed by summer.

I am quite geeked since it is on rabbit-ear TV so I dont have to fight my way in three hours early into a watering hole but instead can kick back and drink homebrew at home. If we can pull this one off I say "Bring It On Blowhio!"

There there...Kinnick is a tough stadium for anyone to play in (even the Hawks from time to time...)

Actually, this game has turned into a pretty decent rivalry in the past 10 games in this series. Iowa holds the advantage 6-4. Of course that doesn't compare to the overall series standing of 41 wins for UM vs 14 for Iowa with 4 ties. Still, I'll take recent history.

Feel free to drown your sorrows in your homebrew of choice, while I hoist mine in victory! :p
Fermenting: Bucket 1 - Fresh Squeezed IPA; Bucket 2 - Empty

Kegged: Keg 1 - Irish Red; Keg 2 - Cream Ale; Keg 3 - Amber Ale; Keg 4 - APA; Keg 5 - Empty; Keg 6 - Empty; Keg 7 - Empty
The reason why the above list is so small Home Theater Build
