"Filled with mingled cream and amber
I will drain that glass again.
Such hilarious visions clamber
Through the chambers of my brain
-- Quaintest thoughts -- Queerest fancies
Come to life and fade away;
Who cares how time advances?
I am drinking ale today."

Just wanted to say hello. I'm pretty new to beer brewing. I got started last winter with a couple of Mr Beer kits. I managed to get two of the standard refills brewed and I thought they turned out pretty good. A little low on ABV but decent none the less. So I took the summer off from brewing due to the hot temps here.

So I'm up to three LBK's and had several of the standard refills sitting here, the temps are about right, I'm off again and hoping to do lots of brewing this winter. When I went back to the community and finally got my profile problems fixed, I noticed lots of the names I was familiar with from last spring were gone. Thats how I ended up here. Looks like a great place. I wont teach anyone much but looks like a great place to learn. Thanks for having me.

Thanks, I;m definatly excited about it. up until 2013 it was illegal to home brew in my state, which is ridiculous, but now i have found a new hobby that i think i will enjoy for a long time. I've got my first batch in the fermenter right now and can't wait to try it out. I'm also looking forward to tinkering around a bit to see what i can come up with.
