If anyone out there already brewing with one of these has any advice or insight that I might not get from just simple instruction. I'd appreciate it

I love mine, it is GREAT to be able to bottle straight from the conical. I have only done 1 batch myself so I have not had time to run into any problems. I did seem to drop the stand off about every time I moved it.

I do not personally have one (yet) though I have seen others modify them slightly with longer legs from PVC pipe to make it easier to bottle with from the conical. Love the design of the system and believe it to be the best bet for people getting into brewing right now. The price, equipment, recipes all seem to be fairly priced and well designed/put together.

What recipes are you going to brew first on your new system? Did you get any refills kits to go along with it yet? Enjoy!!!

I wrapped a piece of paper towel around each leg and shoved it into the stand. The legs fall out quite easily, the towel made it tight. Other than that, it works as advertised. Congrats on the LBC!

It came with the evil pilsner. I was hoping for the stout or wheat but oh well. No refills yet.

I did the same but wrapped each leg base with masking tape before putting it in the base.

They have never come out.

Masking tape would probably work better if u have some. Good idea wings! Sux to move the conical just to have the leg fall off. Yup, took me a couple times to figure out sump'n needed done.

Try twisting them into the base…that should help keep them in place.

I will do that Sam. Thanks. May I ask if you
Have a favorite recipe, and also if you tweak or modify those recipes?

2 of mine would not stay in, twisting, etc did not help. It's not a problem, I just used paper towels to make them real snug.

I will look into this the next time we run the legs…but the paper towel is a good fix.
